Air Permits Program - Annual Report

San Francisco State University (SFSU) is subject to the Bay Area Air Quality Management District's (BAAQMD) air permits program, which regulates and oversees emissions of air pollutants from stationary sources, such as boilers and emergency generators.

Program Description

The program requires SFSU to obtain permits for equipment that has the potential to emit air pollutants above certain thresholds, comply with permit conditions, and maintain accurate records of emissions and compliance activities.

The program also includes requirements for regular inspections and testing, enforcement measures, and employee training.

CY 2023 Update
