Campus Safety Committee

PURPOSE:

The Campus Safety Committee (SCOM) is an open forum to raise and discuss the environmental, safety and health issues of the SFSU campuses.

 

MEETING SCHEDULE:

SCOM meets at least quarterly (but has been meeting monthly for several years) based on an annual schedule of monthly meetings posted on the EH&S website.

 

MEMBERSHIP:

Membership of the committee is open to all with representatives from all parts of the campus community participating. A current membership roster is posted on the EH&S website. Certain de-facto members of the committee are mentioned in the committee’s charter which is also posted on the EH&S website.

 

LEADERSHIP:

The Campus Safety Committee is chaired by the EH&S Director (or his designee) who also prepares the agendas, schedules the meetings, and arranges for meeting minutes which are posted on the EH&S website.
