The EAP training assigned to all employees at SFSU also contains additional information required by other Cal/OSHA and Cal/EPA requlations, such as the Fire Prevention Plan (FPP) and the Hazardous Materials Business Plan (HMBP).
Training Requirements
Cal/OSHA requires training of employees on the written emergency action plan developed for the specific workplace.
Re-training is required whenever the plan is changed. The CSU requires refresher training every three years.
SFSU assigns this online training to all employees using CSU Learn.
CY 2023 Update
As of the end of CY 2023, 70% of the employees assigned the training completed it and are current.
