Facilities & Contractor Employee Safety Handbook: Training - Annual Report

Training Requirements

In addition to the normal training that Facilities employees undergo on a variety of subjects, a safety handbook describing safety procedures required when performing construction and other facilities-related work at SFSU was completed in 2023 for use by both SFSU and contractor employees. 

The requirements of the handbook will be included when issuing requests for proposal for construction and facilities-related work.
 

CY 2023 Update

Facilities Services management reviewed the handbook in CY 2023.

Training on key parts of the Handbook were conducted.

A formal Introduction to the Handbook orientation training will be start in CY 2024.
