Program Description
SFSU’s Employee Medical Monitoring Program describes appropriate procedures for medically monitoring employees' potential exposures to possible hazardous exposures on the job.
Medical exposure monitoring for exposure to high levels of noise (audiometry) takes place as part of the SFSU Hearing Conservation Program.
The SFSU Respiratory Protection Program includes a medical history/clearance evaluation (and a lung function test when indicated) for program participants.
CY 2023 Update
The program remains in effect. No changes were necessary.
Annual respiratory and hearing conservation program monitorings were completed.
