Pesticides, Insecticides & Herbicides

The University is committed to the sustainable management of pests through the use of reduced risk pest control methods with a preference for non-chemical control measures.

Due to personal and public exposure concerns related to the use of pesticides, insecticides, herbicides, and similar products, these materials require prior
approval by the EH&S department.

Prior Approval by EH&S is Required

Potential users of these products must submit a request and supporting documents to EH&S for approval at least 72 hours prior to use.

  1. Request EHS Approval to Purchase Restricted Chemicals or Equipment

  3. Product Use Instructions

The use of sound pest management that focuses on eliminating pest access to food, water and shelter in and around our buildings is preferred over high-risk chemical control measures.
