Over the years, SFSU has developed the following safety-related campus committees that meet on a scheduled or ad-hoc basis
In addition to the committees listed below, SFSU EH&S participates in various systemwide standing committees and other local ad-hoc project-based committees.
- Campus Safety Committee
- Institutional Animal Care & Use Committee (IACUC)
- Human Subjects Research Committee (IRB)
- Campus Biosafety Committee
- Non-Ionizing Radiation Committee (NIRC) (laser safety is included)
- Chemical Safety Committee
- Facilities Services Safety Committee
- Theater and Dance Safety Committee (meets as needed)
- Radiation Safety Committee (No longer active)
